Buying Process

1. Plan

Start off with a free in-home estimate. Allow us to help you determine architecturaly
and functionally how plantation shutters will work within your home. Our highly-trained shutter design expert will clearly explain all of your options -material, framing, hardware
and of course the finish.

2. Measure

Our view - measure twice, cut once. Our experts will measure each of your windows to the nearest 1/16" to ensure an exact fit. This critical step not only lets us know how to build the shutter, but tells us ahead of time if there will be any problems or concerns

NOTE: Multiple windows that are approximately the same size on the same wall will be built the exact same size.

3. Build

After the measurements have been taken, the production department takes over.  The first step is a thorough verification that all necessary information needed for the job has been submitted.  Once the order has been verified and entered into manufacturing software, the build begins. This process takes 5-6 weeks.
4. Service

The same design expert that met with you in the initial appointment will follow your order on a daily / weekly basis until it is complete and ready for install. During this process we will notify you of the progress and update you on approximate install date (normally will set installation date 2-3 weeks before completion).
5. Install

Once we confirm the completion date of your order, our installation team will call and schedule the installation of your shutters. Knowing that the quality installation of your custom shutters is equally important to the care with which they were built, our installation team is one of the finest in the industry.

6. Warranty

Texas-Shutter offers the owner a 90 day "Customer Care" warranty. This warranty will cover any defects in materials, workmanship or installation.  The defected product will be repaired or replaced.  After the 90 days, the warranty will be honored by manufacture.  Each manufacture has their own warranty - ask for a copy.
